We would like to thank you for making our recent stay with you so comfortable and enjoyable in Fakenham. You both welcomed us into your lovely home in a friendly and courteous manner beyond our usual expectations.  (reminded us of being with relatives actually....)
 
Although this time we just required `bed and breakfast`, we would like to sample the culinary delights tantalisingly created in your kitchen for an evening meal too. 
 
As newcomers to Fakenham visiting friends, we only sampled your interesting and pretty area during this short break but have made a plan to return in the future.  When we do, we hope that your guest room will be free for us!  K&B,Dorset

We stayed for 4 nights at Bay Tree Cottage, Fakenham.  The welcome we received was second to none.  Fakenham proved to be central to all the places we wanted to visit during our break.  Sarah was very accommodating with our wishes over our breakfast order and made it very interesting with various delicious fruit each morning.  Each day we would discuss with Sarah where were were going and she was able to recommend further adjacent places which we would not have found on our own.  On one particularly wet day we returned to find Sarah had put the heating on for our comfort - she thinks of everything.  The en-suite bedroom, like the whole house was very comfortable and stylish.  Thank you for the delightful break.  B&M, Harrogate

My brother and I have just had a two night stay at Bay Tree Cottage. What a pleasure it was. We'd had quite a long journey and as soon as we arrived Sarah and Paul made us feel very welcome. Sarah's cooking is excellent. On our first day she'd taken the trouble of buying freshly caught plaice for us. As for the pudding......her apple and raspberry cake is so good we had two helpings on day one and asked if we could have one more helping of it on our second day! It's one of the best puddings we've ever enjoyed. Sarah and Paul's help with our research and offer of freezing our ice bricks was much appreciated too!

We're very much hoping to return next year and wouldn't hesitate at all in booking a longer stay at Bay Tree Cottage.
